SOON COOKED BEER • 2060 : + 2°2022. Beer commissioned by Multiple Art Days x Demory Paris
This project addresses, in a humorous and subversion manner, the urgent issue of global warming by creating this unique beer whose alcohol content has been boosted by +2° in relation to the initial recipe. In this way, she establishes a connection between the increase in its alcohol level and the increase of the Earth’s temperature +2° Celsius predicted by climatologists for the year 2060.
The beer’s name is a play on words: "SOON COOKED" refers to the idea of being “cooked” in the sense of “drunk” or “intoxicated,” but also more literally, being cooked in the increasing heat around the planet. "SOON COOKED BEER • 2060 : + 2°," will therefore get us drunk much too quickly, as the constant pressure and collective hysteria in contemporary society leads us to avoid confronting the catastrophe that is unfolding before our eyes.
